CPU/Mobo Problem with Proc

Hi,
Got a AMD Athlon X2 4200+ proc.
When i run it on a Asus m2n-mx , the system freezes after an hour or so.
After substituting it with other Mobos and procs, realized that it was the proc that was the problem.
Any idea how i can go abt rectifying the problem?

u may ask the dealer for instant replacement if u bought it widin last 3days..

did u check temperatures on the proccy?
