Problem with proxy

Well I recently assembled a dual Opteron based server to use it for hosting (my site)

I installed Windows Server 2003 followed by all pacthes and Updates.
Then I went on to install AppServ.

After doing that i registered an account at freeDNS and made a subdomain and pointed it to my IP.

All done subdomain working nicely.

Now the problem:
I am using a ADSL connection that throws up new Ip each time I connect and due to this I have to either update my sub-domains IP manually or by using a software for this purpose.

Software wud eat up resources while doing it manually is cumbersome.

So I thought why not place the whole server behind an Proxy server so that IP doen't changes at all,
I downloaded Analog X proxy server but really cudn't configure it ??
So can anybody tell me which proxy server to use(It shud b lite on resources) and how to go about it ??
 
Well I tried and resolved the above problem but few more problems have popped in :

1st problem :

The mbstring PHP extension was not found and you seem to be using a multibyte charset. Without the mbstring extension phpMyAdmin is unable to split strings correctly and it may result in unexpected results.

2nd problem:

When I type http://mydomain.xxxx.com/phpmyadmin it immediately takes me to the administration menu instead asking the username and password.

How to go about these??
