recently i bought a sata to usb connector for my external WD green 1.5tb Harddisk.when i connected it the first time i used import foreign disks and it worked fine but later on i couldnt get it detected even though the i could see the usb icon in the tray.i tried for different solutions from the net but couldnt get it to work.when i connect it to a desktop it works fine.
i have a acer 4710z laptop and im using windows xp pro sp2.i also tried another hdd which has an OS in it and it works fine each time i use it. all of my data is in that hard disk and im unable to access it.please help me.
