N Nikhil Forerunner Jun 18, 2009 #1 My aunt uses Skype a lot. I recently reinstalled XP and the latest version of Skype. Now, whenever she calls a contact and that contact recieves the call, all my aunt can hear is something that sounds like static. Why does that happen?
