can you post a better screenshot of your startmenu, not thumbnails, also check if your themes service is running, goto run-services.msc-themes.

so your xp theme tab is not avaliable in appearance tab, right ?

have you installed any other skinning application ?

i went to services.msc, themes wasnt started, so i started it, now the xp theme is there, thnx man, btw i had installed Vista Lite, or wat evr, i uninstalled it though, well i think the Longhorn part of dis software, isnt uninstalled, n its not stated in the Add/Remove Programs List, so how do i take dat out?

ok fine then, make sure your themes service startup type is set to automatic.

About the software, can you give more details, was it a exe you installed or its some of visual style, anyways try rebooting your system & see if your xp service is starting fine.

well de startup type is automatic, ok the Longhorn stuff isnt there, coz de starting screen is de old one now, ok its fine, i think, if ne plm, i'll tell u, thnx 4 de help
