Problem with the gmail dot trick

I've two accounts at a merchant site registered using the gmail dot trick e.g xyz123@gmail.com and xyz.123@gmail.com.

There was a issue with delivery and I'm supposed to provide the merchant the photos of the wrong product delivered to me. The account was with email xyz.123@gmail.com.

Now when I'm trying reply to their email through gmail the reply is going to them as sent from xyz123@gmail.com instead of xyz.123@gmail.com which are actually two different account for them.

Is there any way I can send the reply as xyz.123@gmail.com from my account with id xyz123@gmail.com?

It's PayTm. They don't have any provision for attaching files from their customer support page. I uploaded the photos to mediafire and forwarded them the link but they are saying that they need the photos attached to the email :(.

Only quick way I can think of is using a desktop client like outlook. it will allow you to modify the outgoing email id I believe.

In Gmail settings also you can specify other accounts... Once you are done, then you can send from other email...

Its under accounts tab, add another email addresse and select reply from same email where it sent..

^No, its not like that...
