Bike problem - Copy.jpg

This is draft of mail i created .. please help me with this .

Sir,
I have purchased Apache RTR 160 RD Vehicle No MH 09 CH 1843 on 23/04/2011 through Hard Cash from MAI TVS,Kolhapur.
From the first day i was not satisfied with the bike as it was from old make 09/2011. the dealer assured me that there is nothing wrong with that,so i was fine with that.
But when i asked about other issues like worn out rubbers and Some other Manufacturing issues to the service provider he assued me to replace it on first serving.Later, after first servicing they tried to divert me from my issues.(Like the Rubbers are not available)
Service provider didn't gave me proper information about the warranty/Insurance of the vehicle.
Some Mechanics talked arrogantly with me when i repeatedly asked about the undone works .

I have attached a photo which was taken a week after the purchase of bike .

Also i would like to Mention other noticeable problems of my bike which were observed after the First Servicing:

- Gear box (Gear Slippage & Gear Change problem).
- Engine Heats up very fast which never occurred in first 500 km

So kindly i expect you to take action with immediate effect and i want my vehicle to be served in good condition and hand it over to me.
Expect your cooperation in this regard.I have no personal issues with the dealer but , but this is so disappointing as a new bike user.

Servicing Center name: MAI TVS,Kolhapur.416011

P.S. .I am and was fan of Apache,So i saved penny by penny for this bike and this is what i get in return

Did you try calling up the Nodal head? Sometimes calling up the company directly is quicker than writing letters. Have the letter of course for records. If you do not get a helpful response, you might also want to contact CNBC Pehredaar.

i gave this feedback on their site. The workshop manager (from MAI TVS ) called me after with a polite (?) tone asked me about every thing (as if he didnt knew ), even though i got the rubber parts Replaced ,some problems still persists ..I hope it will be cleared in next due (3rd) servicing . Their reply was prompt but i must mention that TVS is not giving any email for the complaints, they are using verbal communication / site feed backs .. saves them from getting sued :1ign14:

Man TVS still has lax quality control , its sad to see . I also liked the Apache but a friend had a lot of problems with service , it was like he did not buy a bike but bought some burden .
Tank rusting , rubber tearing , etc .
Ofcourse there is that vibration due to its engine design but then its a personal choice , some are ok with it , some are not .

Engine heating up fast ? . Check your engine oil level , many cases out there where in mechanics forget to put adequate oil or even sometimes forget to put oil itself ( happened with me ) .

lots of gear slipping .Its embarrassing sometimes in traffic, coz jerking bike makes you feel like a noob driver

After months of fighting , the company was ready to replace it but again headache there , dealer would say that tank is ordered but not in stock , once it comes in stock , we will replace it and again repeated calls and the headache . In rage he thought everything , court case , sue dealer for mental harassment and what not , in the end his wife convinced him it was not worth it , just consider it was stolen . Now he has HH , not the best service around here but again , atleast quality control is good ! . How many rust cases do we hear in them ? .
He ended up selling the bike he liked a lot , but thats how it is , after sales support is the most important which hardly any automobile firm in India provides , there is no Corsair like company in automobiles which has " legendary " service . Only thing you can hope for is that you dont end up with a lemon .

You can get that fairing with the TVS dealer but not all keep it in stock , you might need to order it .

The gear slipping is not just about making you look like a noob , its a serious issue which can potentially endanger your life , am not joking , one missed gear change might lead to a disaster .
Get done with it from TVS guys or your local mechanic , dont keep riding like that !! .

PS : Am no HH fanboy , I dont care about any brand loyalty in life .
