i am using a netgear WGR614 V5 wireless router to connect use net of my laptop . now the thing is for the past few days the speeds on my laptop have done down. the net is not stable and it keeps disconnecting. it even when the pc is right next to the wireless modem. it shows signal strength EXCELLENT but the speed would be 54 MBps and the next second it will be 1 Mbps. the net is also not working properly due to this. i have tried resetting the settings on my router changed channels , made secure network ,unsecured , deleted all temp files etc. ran a virus scan nothing seems to help . what to do ?
