problems using mtnl triband

hey guys,

since tonight about 8 pm, i am unable to open many sites on my mtnl triband, tried rebooting the router many times, flushing the dns cache, scanned the system but nothing. I was even unable to come to TE but then i had to use a proxy site to get here. I am unable to get to bitsoup, revolutiontt, TE and cnn.com, the sites i have noted so far. Is any1 else facing the same in mumbai?
 
works fine for me.. Just cross your fingers and hope MTNL be back. try
OpenDNS or the google DNS and see if it works for ya for the time being.
 
Yes even I faced the same problem, but it got resolved sometime later in the night.

OT - Although my plan has been upgraded to 1 mbps UL, download speeds on torrents is still around 45-50 kbps. Can anyone tell me why?

Have you tested speed on speedtest.net ??
 
hey guys,

thanks for replying, working all fine now, yea got fixed sometime at 2am last night...strangely dunno what went wrong but seemed some packet loss issue at their gateway
