Problems with my Nokia N72!!

Hey guys I got my Nokia N72 last Sunday. I have receives 2-3 problewms wich Iwant to share with you.
1. Full battery charging takes around 2hrs 50 min.
2. 2 days back the phone was not starting after the battery got low. I had to put the Battery in my Dad's Nokia Mobile charge for sometime and then put into my phone and then charged fully.
3. Today the worst thing happened :@ I was installing some applications from mobango.com. I installed some themes it accepted. But when I installed Nokia Media Player 2.74 the screen went white and it's just displaying white screen and NOKIA Logo and nothing else. I restared it several times by removing the battery but agin it shows the white screen and in between the Nokia Logo. Please guys help me out to get out of this problem.
 
Only options you got is formating the internal memory.

1. Take off your MMC.

2. Make the batter is well charged, at least 3/4.

3. Press and hold 3 keys : Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the n70 phone. Remember, do not let go any key until and unless you get to the first screen that prompts you your city.

This may also work but I haven't tested it yet.

On a N Series based phone, two key sequences will allow to restore your phone to a cleaner state:

Normal Reset *#7780# : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Hard Reset *#7370# : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

In both case, the phone will ask you a confirmation and you will have to enter a security code (12345 by default).

And once you format your phone, take it through a firmware upgrade. you can do that at home with an N70, so N72 should work too.
 
Please do not install anything from warez sites like mobango. . Most of the times these end up being the root cause of problem. There are a lot of freeware available everywhere so i do not see any need for them . :) ;)
 
Thanks a million times, this strategy really saved my Phone. My Memory Card and Phone is Quite Fine now. Imagine 7 day old Phone not working, but now I can really enjoy with my phone. Please suggest me some Free Reliable sites with some name of the softwares like Anti Virus, Media Players (supporting mp4 Video Files), Games etc.
 
N70/N72 plays mp4 files with the inbuilt real player but they have to be properly encoded......

use a free converter called "super"

video codec: mp4
audio : aac
file type : mp4

fps : max is 15 supported by n72
reslution max 352x288 but I prefer 208x176

u can even convert .flv files :)
 
Hello

I have a Nokia N72 now havimng problem, when i press any key to operate the phone the scattered colors come on the screen. why it is so???

can anyone help me to update my antivirus already provided by the nokia it is symantac
 
Im not sure, if this is the Sim card, or the phone itself...but whenever i try to call anyone (on their mobile OR home phone) i get a 'Connection Error' box pop up. I can recieve calls and texts, but i cannot send them. I just came back from Malta (In Europe) and i had the same problem every now and then. Can anyone help me? or have any solutions? thanks a lot...:(
 
My phone is Nokia N72. My clock is set to GMT 0.00. But actually i am in timezone GMT + 5.30. But i have no idea how to change it in Nokia N72. I even tried putting "synching time with operator" option on. But then also it is not changing. Is there anyway i can put mobile on the right time Zone ?
