I got a new BIG 7600GS and the card isnt working!! plugged the card in but i get no display on the screen :( but the fan on the card seems to spinning...

tried this with 2 cards...i get the same problem :(

my current BIG 6200tc seems to work fine...not problems at all!!

my config is
X2 3800+
MSI K8NGM2 FID
Antec SmartPower 350W it has only 16A on the 12v rail....could this is be a problem??

Please help some1!!

try resetting the bios and see.. my msi has a cold boot bug that seems similar to the problem you are describing where older agp cards would work but newer ones wouldnt boot or it would take a really long time for the display to appear.

did the bios reset thing....i got display...but it was only geforce 7600gs written all over the screen and it didnt go beyond that...
i rebooted and again no display :(

i am back to using the 6200tc :)

dada i am not using the onboard...i am using a 6200tc!! which works fine... but the 7600gs just wont work!!
i too got a big 7600gs yesterday, working just fine
am using a skyhawk 300w smps with 2 rails of 10a n 8a

god knows wat the problem is then!! well the msi manual says use a 350W psu with min 18A on the 12v

Well i connected the monitor to the onboard display and also plugged in the 7600gs...both can be used together according to the bios....

booted into windows but all i could see is the onboard gfx....the 7600gs didnt show up...

the Asus A8N-VM had compatibility issues with 7600GS....maybe this MSI too has issues.try it on a diif mobo if possible and see.

big dada :P u can try what i said re no harm :P go into the bios and manually disable onboard video and set primary display to PCIE

2 cards can not be faulty

have the latest bios...reset the bios...reflashed the bios....
tried 2 diff cards...

but still no display!!

you reset using the jumper ? otherwise try removing the battery for a while and see

@ sandy.. this board has a automatic setting in bios to use display adapters...so if there is no card...it automatically reverts to on board...... if i m not wrong....

Tried another BIG 7600GS that didnt work either!!! :(

So got myself a BIG 7300GT

BIG seems to be ruling lamington road....nothing else is available!!
