CPU/Mobo Processor + motherboard advice

need new mb and processor

OLD PC config =>
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz,
motherboard : Gigabyte H67M-D2-B3
GPU : Sapphire HD 7870 XT With Boost (Tahiti LE)
PSU : Corsair tx v2 650W
Display : BenQ RL2450H RTS Gaming Monitor
SSD: Samsung 120 GB 2.5 inch 840 EVO SATAIII

budget : 14-16k

use: mostly gaming (battlefield 4, dota 2)

reason: upgrading Processor and mb only rest config same.

i am leaning toward buying Intel Core i5-4460, any thoughts

You would be better off with current processor. It will not bottleneck your GPU.

Exactly, also you can overlock it as well, i5 4460 wont make that much difference..

Processor : Intel Core i5 4460 -12000,
Motherboard : MSI H97 PC Mate -8000.
TOTAL -20,000.

If processor is in warranty, you can go for Rma and buy a new motherboard..
