CPU/Mobo Processor Query.

I have a Intel P4 Prescott 2.8A NON HT processor brought on December 24, 2004.

Does anyone know any shop which can exchange it with a New or 1 Year Old Intel P4 Prescott 2.8E HT processor?
 
Well i wudnt suggest you to do that, 2.8A is a northworrd core iirc and it dosent heat up as the later prescott cores, HT makes only slight difference, nothing exceptional so dont waste ur money on it, if u are in an urge to upgrade, go for a complete upgrade with new board and proccy, if not then just get a decent motherboard and try and oc that 2.8 of yours

the 2.8A is prescott according to CPU-Z.

dad will not buy me a new motherboard now.
 
Why would any shop exchange the CPU for a new one? Ur only option would be to sell this one and buy a new proccy.
