guys in our final year we have to go for a project.. so i have thought of making a online word processor like google docs.. so any one of you can give me some idea how to start..

Anyways.. go read up on AJAX and PHP( or any other Web Development Language..JSP.etc)

AJAX - gives the user that feel of interactivity by fetching response through requests to server without reloading the page.
