#[member='Doremon'] Run msconfig, and go to the startup tab >> Disable all and then restart. This will only affect the various applications that are loaded at startup, so it is perfectly safe. Now, check your applications that you commonly use, and make sure that each of them works fine. If any application throws up an error, open msconfig and enable the startup entry for that app only. Repeat the process for all your commonly used apps. That way, your windows OS will boot only with the bare essentials that you need.
