Protection for motherboard

Hello,
Well, I purchased a CM Hyper 212+ recently and while trying to screw it on to the motherboard i damaged the linings behind on the PCB. Asus refused to RMA and asked me to be careful in the future. How can i prevent this from happening in the future? Should i use a 3m tape or something? Please give me your suggestions.

The only suggestion I would give is that 'be careful next time' .

I will be careful for sure. But still, insulation tape around the screw holes for the cooler? just wanna prevent direct contact with the nut and bolt of the cooler.
