Hi,

Proxies have been discussed time and again, but one problem is that Proxy sites are either too common (which can be blocked easily) or they die too easily (so you need to keep yourself updated).

Hence thought of asking few (new) proxy sites which are not very famous (google-wise or either).

Regards,

Aliveproxy or xroxy.com.
They have huge collection of proxies sorted by location.
So according to your location you can change the proxies to get the best out of your network in terms of speed etc.

In my office, they have a public computer in which people can go to that computer and access all the sites.
What i did was, that i noted down the IP address and DNS address settings and configured them on my laptop.
Now i get access to all the sites.
Now the problem is that, whenever another person goes and switches on the public computer, there is an IP conflict between that public computer and my laptop. (so i remove my LAN cable immeditely)
Both of them cannot run on the same IP.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this ? (something to do with Dymanic IP ? )

If you are configured before that public computer you do not need to worry.
You can carry as if nothing has happened and the public computer is the one which will get problems.
Or try variations in the ip address.
There is an application called angry ip scanner which will let you know the free ip address on your network.
Do a trial and error method then.

You can use that Ip address of the public computer as your default gateway. So there won't be any ip conflict and you'll also be able to browse all sites. :)

Still having an IP conflict after changing the default gateway to the IP address of the public computer.
The access to web is only open on that particular IP, so cannot change the IP as well..
Any other soln ?
