PS2 controllers

During my last trip to Thailand I bought 2 unbranded wireless controllers which lasted for a good 2 years. But now both of them have gone kaput. Can you guys suggest a good controller (wired or wireless) that I can buy locally? I dont want to buy the original ones (read expensive ones) because the only time I use my PS2 is when my nephews come to visit me i.e. once in 2 months.
