PS2 is making circular scratch on disc

Hi,

My PS2 is making circular scratch on disc. I went to Sony Authorised Service Center but they told they don't repair PS2 .
Can anyone suggest any trusted place to get the PS2 repaired in India.
 
Either the lazer is dirty or the DVDs you are using are bad quality , i also had this problem when i had ps2 few years back and switching to Taiyo Yuden and verbatim DVDs from Sony fixed the problem.
 
Thank Arjun. Have you tried Mcboot expoit to run games from USB flash or USB hard drive.

I think my ps2 laser is faulty i tried many compact disc vendors but no luck.
 
No , i have no idea about any of these ps2 mods , i had a modchip on my ps2 and i have not played my ps2 for more than 3 year .,

Cleaning the lazer may fix it
