PS2 - Modded - Lamington road

I plan to gift a ps2 to a relative of mine. I don't know much about gaming. I was searching for ps2 models on the internet and came to know there something called modded ps2 which is better. Can someone PM me the name of a trusted store in lamington road which sells modded ps2. Also if i buy a ps2 from sony world, are there any places where i could get the ps2 modded with a hour or two.

I dont know about modded PS2 available at Lamington Road,but you should take a few precautions.

1.Go for Matrix Infinity mod chip.

2.Check with a copied gamedisc

3.It voids your warranty
