PS3 Disk Problem........:(

Hi guys
I have a 40GB PS3
1 day i was playing FIFA09 on it and it suddenly stopped.
After i rebooted,no game worked in it......:(
No type of disks are working in it,though all other functions are working properly.....
I need suggestions on what has happened and how/where to get it fixed....

@nimit......if in warranty return it to where you bought it.

If not, get the PS3 to local Console repair shop, u trust, as the BLURAY lens has died on u, u need to replace it.

Also ask him to do it in front of you :)

Can the BLURAY lens be replaced by a new 1 from places like Nehu place or Palika bazaar?
 
yes it can be replaced with new one, i think you can get it replaced in palika.

Not sure though may be delhi guys can help you with it also get it done in front of you.
 
Buy the laser online and do it on your own. Best way as you know you will get the original thing. Its fairly easy to do as well if you're good with general electronics. I would've done it for you but i'm really stretched out already :|

I was checkinh ebay and got 1 of these lenses for 30$

but before buying i wanna ask that it says it works with cehchh01 n mine is cehchh06 ,does the last number matter?????
