In a recent press release Insomniac Games spokesperson Ryan Schneider revealed that upcoming Playstation 3 title “Resistance: Fall of Man†will weigh in at a meaty 22 gigs.
Schneider explained that the size is partially due to textures and the soundtrack, but noted that it’s something that just isn’t possible with HD-DVD’s 15 gig limitation. Resistance is reported to feature 40-player online matches, a ranking system with 60 levels , and gyro utilization with PS3’s Dual Shake controller.
