Hey guys :)
I suck at drifting in GT HD on the PS3 and cant believe how well people do drifting so easily and then post it on sites like you tube to make others jealous. Those of you who are pros in this game i request you to share some tips with me. Its a real beautiful game and highly addictive . Teach me how to Drift! Please:)

I've only once, cracked the top 10 leaderboard online with a record of 1 minute and 28.45 seconds with Suzuki Cappucino on forward track.

This feat alone took me 4 days to master.

I gave up GT HD after that, didn't go to the drift parts, if you want some tips anyways :

Just observe strictly at exactly which point in the track they steer and hit the handbrakes/brakes.
 
well.... generally use of handbrake in conjunction wid accelerator makes a car drift... thats what i used to do in Carbon... :)
 
- Downshift abruptly to over-rev the engine and bring the rear around. Or you can make use of the handbrake to achieve the same results.
- Immediately apply an high amount of steering lock in the direction you want to induce the drift in.
- Keep feeding in just the right amount of throttle in addition to maintaining just the right amount of opposite lock to sustain long drifts.

Just a general idea on how to drift in any racing game :)
