I know April Fools is over in India but it just begun here. They switched the numbers XD

Edit : Over now. For those (all) of of you who missed it, Vgchartz put X360 sales numbers in front of PS3 and PS3's numbers in front of X360.

And in the light of this getting over so quickly :

well it can sell better if they get the pricing right in india take for example the ps3 40gb version costs 13900 in hongkong but it costs in india 24000.even with the customs tax & vat it should cost 20000.
 
exactly.. PS3 pricing in india is extremely out of sync.. i got my 40Gb PS3 from S'pore for $550 which is just a little above Rs 15k
 
Also PS3 games are bloody expensive. I am glad I have an Xbox 360, I can get original games for 999. For the PS3, cheapest games are like 1500 !

Around 19k I believe. Not worth it IMHO since PS3s can suffer the Spin of Death. (Blue ray drive failure). So warranty is advisable.

Agreed... Sony India after sales support is sh!t, but atleast you will get a free replacement after a month or two. If you get the unit from grey market, You would have to get it repaired yourself and the parts will not be cheap.
 
^^ Yes. I saw some ps3 games in around that price when i bought psp for my nephew. For a second I thought it was to get rid of stocks or something but it was same for almost all titles. Although there are still titles which sell in 2.7k, I saw prologue going for 1.7k. But its seriously about time that they prices for 40gb ps3 as well. There are talks in getting a dualshock 3 controller in Bundle with 40gb ps3 according to a source somewhere.
