PS3 online store error!

Well guys, its been really frustrating for me not being able to connect to the playstation3 store from my PS3 console. I am able to surf the net from its browser though. When i enter the playstation3 store it gives me an error saying that the playstation 3 store is not yet available in the selected country. The PS3 that i have is from hongkong and that makes the region ASIA. Please some one guide me with this. Thanks

I think its finding out your country ie. India from your IP address!

When you registered your PSN account,you gave the Indian address right..tht's why you're getting tht msg since there's currently no PSN store for India and it will be released by the end of this year.

What you can do is create a new PS3 user profile, in there register a new PSN account this time with USA as your country of residence.

You'll be able to access PSN and download anything. Downloaded Games like GT HD will work from any user profile.

WOH! It worked guyss. Thanks a ton to all you peeps . Took me some tome to figure it out but got it in the end. Sony really needs to do something about this and even though i am enjoying every bit of the PS3, i still miss the rumble feature very much. Sony is too dumb to remove it. GT HD Looks and plays marvelous....
