PS3 or XBox - Criteria=Offline Multiplayer

Been off the `gaming grid` since arnd 2-3 years ( pretty evident from my siggy ).
Now decided to get back to gaming ( that too on console. Yippee ki-yay ! )

I`ve read through old threads here and other forums , seeking advice abt consoles.
I`ve now got a fair idea. :huh:

But one thing that looms in my head is Offline Multiplayer criteria. I couldn`t get much info on any forum.

My choices are -
1. X360 s ( No Kinect)
2. PS3 + Move :cool2:

I would like some comments on -

1. Split screen games for both consoles ( any genre , also include `object based view` games - FIFA etc)
2. No kinect plz. Offline multiplayer games for Move ?
3. Any PSN or XBL arcade games ?

4. And finally the fun factor ? Is this worth all the fuss! ?

RDR has lan mp support.

And i think Army of Two supports split screen.

On PS3 youve got LBP/LBP2 , Fat Princess, PixelJunk Series (about 3-5 of them) , Castle Crashers (on Xbox too) , RagDoll Kung Fu FOP, etc etc .

However you will need to download them from PSN.

XBLA has awesome set of indie shoot em/bash em ups for offline multiplayer as well. (zombies 8 my cookie )
