PS3 problem!

My brother is getting a PS3 for him from US. He has got a 80gb NTSC model. I am also thinkin getting one for me. But there is a problem He cant find any PAL version overthere. So my question is Will NTSC version work on my TV it is 29 incher LG (not LCD) If it dosnt works on NTSC do we have NTSC to PAL converters?

How old is your TV? The newer ones support both NTSC and PAL. I dont think it should be much of a problem. Even PAL games (the ones you get in India) work often. Depends on your TV.

^^ Hammer is right. It depends on the TV. But I think only if your TV is more than 7-8 years old, it will not have NTSC.

well my 1984,1996 sony tvs had ntsc ,pal etc .

the TV was bought in 2005 it is 29 inch LG flatron with 2 woffers mounted on top

hey guys i faced a problem when i connected my usa ntsc console, some pal game werent running unless u connect it to an hdtv via hdmi.i dont remeber the error reference no. u can refer it in google.so get a pal version in india.
