Ps3 with no display pls help

Hello guys, i have been having this 40 gb playstation 3 since 15 months it was having no problems so far, buy yesterday when i plugged in the power and started ps3 it didnt gave any display , not on hdmi and even on rca .. Everything is connected normally and no changes whatever done recently..

Anyone else faced this issue? Please help me. :S
 
The issue could be because of a whole lot of reasons. Is the device getting ample power from the socket? Do those LEDs lighten up when the console is powered? Is the fan spinning or could you feel the warm air being expelled out?

Try resetting the video settings - Hold the power button down for two beeps while the PS3 is off.

You can as well try entering the diagnostic mode. Not sure if that'd help though.
 
check for led .. its its \showing yellow .. then ur ps3 is dead.. mine got ylod and had it replaced with slim..

as but Desecrator , try his method..
 
No YLOD , have tried almost all , ps3 is working fine with Remote Play, i can even access my files and play.. but no display through either of connections (HDMI/ RCA)
 
check ur tv. r other hdmi devices playing on it? if der r more than one hdmi port, try the other ones. try plugging it on another hd tv or monitor if the above doesn work.
 
Is there no sound as well? I mean are you able to listen to those clicks when you move the analog stick between the several options on the XMB? Did you reset the video settings?
 
yup, video settings resetted, tried on both displays.. through HDMI and RCA also , as said earlier sound is also ok through both (RCA/HDMI (when done seperately) ) i can use ps3 through remote play.. how to get into diagnostic mode ? and the display is perfect for my other DVD player and through PC HDMI
 
Thank You naveen for getting me linked , it was surely hard disk corruption which caused the display to go blank. fixed by the above described method ..
