Most places only seem to list the memory type (DDRx) and the clock speed. While this is definitely an essential information, it doesn't tell the full story. The way the memory is ranked and other parameters like the latency is important too. Here is a Linus tech video that talks about it in some more detail, thought it'd be useful to someone here who is building a gaming / high performance rig.
