psp 1000 on 6.20 hack without pandora, anyone?

Hello guys,

As the title says, I am looking for ways to hack/mod a psp 100x that is on firmware 6.20. I do not have the pandora battery to do it, so is there any other way?

Please let me know, Its kind of urgent for me..

TotalPSNoob has found a way to run homebrew on 6.2 even on 3004 but he hasn't released it yet
 
If you have patience then wait for 6.20 expliot to release in December. Someone will release a software-based firmare downgrader then.

Especially when prices of PSP are going down , hold down purchases for PSP.

Bought it last month and was trying to play Dirt 2 and Gran Turismo but both were asking me to update from the UMD but wouldn't update until the battery was fully charged, so went through the manual and decided to do the network update as I was not planning to use downloaded games on it. What I didn't know at that time was that emulators require custom firmware as well.
