PSP 1001 XMB running Slow.

I have a PSP-1001 of my Friend. Its modded with 5.50 Prome-4.
I noticed that the XMB menu is really running slow otherwise everything is fine I ran many games on it with no problem at all.
But the menu is really slow.
What could be the problem? Any of you think is it the Firmware?

What is your XMB CPU speed? Press SELECT in the XMB to bring up the CFW menu ....

Put it back to default if it is at anything else.
