PSP 2004 modding, need information.

I'm gonna buy PSP 2004.. but I'm getting confused informations..
Some PSP owners said buy the product mfd before Sept 08, then only you can mod it..

One more PSP owner told me, every PSP 2k4 is moddable... I am totally confused what to do..

Is manufacture date is essential for PSP2004 if I want to mod it? :S :S
 
check out psp hack forums or dark alex forum for more information, you can check which motherboard the psp has while looking at the umd disc loading area, and can know if you can run homebrew on it or not

it all depends on the motherboard the PSP has if it has TA88v3 motherboard then not possible to mod it. A
nd thier is no possible way to find without opening the box which mobo psp has.

Suggestion get PSP from Musafir Khana they will mod for you that way you don't have to risk your money. If it comes to be TA88v3 motherboard then they will open another and will mod for you

Lol. I think he understood the PSP 2004 as the PSP2 ... and thats the reason he's surprised. GooD TimeS ~ ~

I was looking into buying the PSP but had to bail once i got to know that the moddable ones were not available around my area ~ ~ Ill just sit tight and wait for the PSP 2.
