PSP 3004 - FW 6.6 - Can it be modded?

Okay. So my friend bought his PSP 3004 last year, and is on the latest FW 6.6 AFAIK.

He's bought many UMDs and 4 out of 5 games are pathetic and he has wasted his money and is thoroughly depressed about(well of course, those darn games are COSTLY)

So I want to know, if it's possible to mod the PSP 6.6?
 
Ask him to read reviews before buying crap :P

Btw.. which games were those ? I hope IronMan/Transformers wasn't one of them. Worst games i've ever played on the PSP :|
 
Why not give those games to Landmark and get coupons and use those to buy games. You can also buy used games at Landmark. That is what I did with Dirt 2 for PSP. Sold it off to Landmark for a coupon worth Rs.300/- and got a used Ridge Racer 2 by paying the difference of Rs.100/-.

Can I assume that one of those 4 games is Dirt 2? It was being sold alongwith Gran Turismo a year back. That is how I ended up with it. It was a horrible game nothing like its console counterparts. Worse game on PSP I have played till date. Sega Rally and Rally stages on Gran Turismo are way better.
 
Not very sure but i have version 6.6 .The shopkeeper installed some software and now i can play most of games from mem stick so it can be modded.

Again noob in such things better get expert advise.
 
THere is no landmark here. SO can't do. But I'll suggest it to him. I think he'll go for it.

Oh and Btw Metal Gear Solid the latest one is one of the titles. It sucks soo bad, I cant believe it got a 9.5.

Horrible HORRIBLE controls, boring and uninspiring story line. I wonder what all the hype's about.

Anyways, if anybody knows how to mod it, please help out, as he would still like to know if it's moddable, and if yes, how.
