PSP Buying Help

Hi Guys

I have decided on buying a PSP but i havent kept myself updated on the firmwares and which version of PSP to buy.

Some help on identifying the firmware wud be highly appreciated.

1.>It shud be able to play games from mem card.
2.>It shud be able to play divx, xvid avi files from the mem card.
3.> And Mp3 playback.

What firmware PSP to get and what to flash to.

Upgrading to version 3.40oe-a should be good enough. User's say almost all game iso's work fine on them... also it gives you all the upgrades offered by sony's latest firmware.

I am planning to go for it too.

Even I am planning to buy myself a PSP, any idea where will I get a modded one in Bangalore!!

ull get a 2.71fw psp in bajaj complex next to national market in gandhinagar.

alternatively u can logon to YourPSP.in - The Un-official PSP(PlayStation Portable) forum and send a message to one of the admins there,they will sell u a modded psp with fw 3.03 for 9.5k
