psp file copy problem

got slim with 3.71 .. just got 4gb sandisk org for it ..magic gate supported with 3904mb ..
for file transfer,
i guess u need to connect the mini usb to usb cable and then select the usb connection .. u can then see it as removable drive ..prob is whenever i try to copy anything over the card it says please wait on psp screen ..and nothing happens .. sometimes i am able to copy files ..but most time it says please wait on psp screen and even nothing shows on pc .. not sure what is the prob ? memory card ? or what ? am i doing something wrong ..?

help pls .:)
 
check ur usb cable too. It might be bad. I faced some issues with the cable i got for psp. But with a digicam cable it worked fine. So try getting a digicam cable (mini-usb to usb) and then try again.
 
This error is due to either Fake card or cheap quality Mini-USB cable. My self experience taught me this. Then I bought a genuine Transcend Mini-USB cable and no issues at all. Yeh I do have a fake MS Pro duo (2GB) but planning to buy a 8GB card soon.

are dont frighten him :rofl: in my view its just case of not formatting card from inside psp. :cool2:

the culprit here is usb cable .. its a usb 1.1 cable .. hence the prob..

checked it with my bro's phat psp .. i have formatted the card inside psp ..also the card just came with adapter ..not with the card reader ..

everything else is fine .. now need to find a usb 2.0 cable ..any idea abt its price ?
 
got the cable .. relative of mine got one with his handycam ..:)

now its smooth sailing ..anyways , sony should bundle the data cable in the package ..:@
