well i just bought a new psp s&l
and its rocking the piano black is juhst HOT !! :P.. the interface,games,shape everything is rocking :P

the only prob is the sound quality ...it is real sad when ur listining to songs in traffic or local train :( ... well in game sound is pretty decent

its only when u switch on ur mp3 player .. is there any soft mod or firmware update which fixes this problem ?? please help

also recommend me good pair of earphones around 1.5k :)

err i dont think theres much you can do about the low volume on PSP..try playing around with the equalizer and some sound settings...

for headphones..around 1.5 k wait for someone else to reply..

cause i dunno much .about it.and i think anything more than ep-630..is not necessary for PSP cause the total output /volume is gonna remain low..so even a 1.5k headphone and the ep-630..will sound similar..only a bit of difference in SQ..

this is with my personal experience with the PSP..i ve used the ep-630 as well as one of my friends sennheiser cans with the PSP..and there wasnt much difference..

settle for creative ep-630 if u want to save money ,in TE market section it costs around 750-780 ..!
 
get the creative ep-630 with ur eyes closed its the perfect companion with psp.. the music is good but the games sound awesome.. the bass is just perfect to make u feel all the boom in the games..... no point in wasting 1.5 k when u can ge these for 750 bucks
 
my personal experience is that the volume slowly increases after a week or two on its own..also disable AVL in the options menu...and yeah i have an ep-630 an d it sounds great with my psp...
 
yea the sound is bit low.... but agree with others EP-630 are good enough with PSP or infact with any other PMP.
though if you want to go above that then i have heard my friends phillips earphones with PMP its also awesome and it costs 1.5k (no idea about model)

Go with the EP-630 as the others suggested.

The nice thing is, they are an in-canal model which have decent noise isolation which helps with the PSP's low volume. Most of the time, I have the PSP's volume at 50% while gaming with an EP-630.
 
sound is definitely low for music but if u get a good set of earphones with it, u'll be good.

I might get the sennheiser PX100 or PX200 for it. I am not comfortable with ep630 type of earplugs.
