PSP Slim 3.71 -> CFW

hey guys,

my friend just picked up a slim psp which has the 3.71 FW. I need to mod it for him to a CFW preferably the latest version which iirc is 3.90 with skype (Dark Alex CFW).

i cant seem to find a tutorial of sorts or anything related to bumping up a 3.71 slim PSP to CFW.

Could you guys help? I have already upgraded/downgraded my fat psp so i am kinda clued in on how this works.

Also can u guys let me know the price of a 4gb ms pro duo (for the psp)

Create a Pandora battery/Memory Card using your fat PSP. Put it into the PSP slim. Follow instructions.

I followed these step by step instructions a few days back for going from PSP Slim 3.71 to CFW.

dont forget to take a nand backup as well as a backup of your battery eeprom. you'll be cool once that happens. cheers.
 
even i am looking to put the cutom firmware on my slim one .. now what is best price for sandisk 4 gb one ? the best price i got was 2.6 k ..

also i was quoted 1.6k for sony one .. box packed with 1 yr warranty .. did not checked it psp .. is it safe to go for this one if it does work with psp .. the box had a sticker like psp compatible .. so which one to go for ? also anybody got any lower price for sandisk ?
 
yeah .. i knew its fake .. what if it works well with psp .. also any idea abt the price of sandisk 4 gb one ?
 
ni idea abt price of sandisk. I got my sandisk 4GB from US for Rs. 1600 (thanksgiving day special discount :))
 
i got a 4gb sandisk mspd sealed fs for 2.2k if any1 wants , will be putting it up on market fs , got two , using one and selling the other.
