Yes.. the new psp slim has a New firmware as well to chew upon... ;)
Considering the fact that the new version of the console has been in the mkt only for a month now .. this is really superb stuff

Seems like the new PSP, the PSP Slim/Lite has a different IPL altogether.
Its not the regular 1.50 CFW, but it is the new 3.60

Sony really wd be thinking wot to do with all these ppl ...
First the spanish cracker Dark Alex, and now this crazy Russian Team M33 ..

Speculations are on that Dark Alex is in the team M33 as well .. used this ploy to get Sony off him .. Seems to be a master stroke in the end.

Pandora's Battery been already hailed as nothing short of a genius work and now the psp lite has a custom f/w ..

So who all are gonna get their hands on a psp lite ..? :)

Sony has deliverd a new FW for the fat PSP Unit. Err.. no offense intended, but the 'fat' here refers to the series 1000 psp. Psp Slim is the series 2000 version :)
The new f/w is for both the PSP 1000 series and the PSP 2000 series.

Some of the new features :
Network

- (Remote play) [the button to allot to the menu] it added.
- 1000 series: PSP "of Portable TV" (R) "[pureisuteshiyon] portable" for attendant upon the end of image download service, the P-TV idea contest was deleted. Details this (P-TV | ãŠ知らã›) viewing.

Television

- 2000 series: [It corresponded to data broadcast with [wansegu]].
- 2000 series: Even in the television which does not correspond to progressive image output system, when viewing [wansegu] broadcast, it reached the point where the picture can be output.
- It can output to just the television which corresponds to progressive image output system with state when purchasing.

Video

- It reached the point where it can play back the animated picture which is retained in the memory stick duo continually.
- Using “VAIO Mobile TV Ver.5.0,” it reached the point where it can play back the animated picture file of [wansegu] which is retained in the memory stick duo.
