PSP Slim with TA-088v3 Mobo Bricked, Needs Help!!!

Hi friends,

A close friend of mine bricked his PSP Slim with the TA-088v3 motherboard. The incident happened when He tried to update the installed CFW.

We went to the local shop, and he said we'll be needing a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick to fix the PSP. But, a month has passed and that person was unable to arrange the stuff.

Kindly suggest where can I find the abovementioned items in Delhi-NCR. Or is there any other way to fix this up.

see the problem is that it will have to be reformatted...why not go to a SONY centr3 there must plenty there.....

just tell your friend that nt to mention those people at sony centre that he was modding.....and tell him to say that he was upgrading the firmware and suddenly PSP blanked out and having a problem since then...this might help u sorting out his problem...

You can't unbrick a TA-088v3 motherboard.

Your best bet is to take it to the service center and try to bluff it.. IF its in warranty. Else you're out of luck.
 
Yup, you're doomed. Do what Dhruv says if it is still under warranty and you will get a replacement albeit that of a newer unhackable PSP.
