Guys my cousin is getting a psp from uk but he is confused abt which one to get the psp 2000 or psp 3000.The price difference between them is ard 3000 bucks.And is the scan line issue in the psp 3k a major issue.Plz reply fast guyz as he need to give order by 2morrow.

Reason for NOT getting 3k series:

1) Scan Line problem as u stated.

2) 3k series is def not hackable. With 2k u just might have a slim chance of getting hackable psp.

Just in case Scan lines wont be an issue for him in the future.. and he chats a lot using Skype.. (which gen is the case with ppl there).. he can opt for the mic fitted 3k series psp.

Lastly, 3k series has a better screen .. (but seriously, no one gives a damn regarding that factor)
 
hey guyz thanks for replying and he is getting one from there.he lives in India and can we attach a mic in psp 2000.

Yes ofcource u can attach a mic and a camera to a psp.

psp 3k already comes with a mic.

PSP 2004 is the designated region code for indian 2k series psp.

And if he lives in India, and plans to use it here as well.. GET ONE FROM INDIA. Warranty issues wont bother u.
 
he placed an order of psp-2k core version from amazon already.He's getting it with amazon voucher which he got from doing surveys.
 
i would like to know if PSP-2000 is still available in india??

i just visited sony world in lucknow which is selling PSP-3004 that cant be hacked

For members living in metros:-

1.Whats the cost of PSP in grey market,is psp-2000 available??

2.If PSP-2000 is available is it hacked?? or comes with the newer motherboard

3.Market name,if possible plz mention the name of the shops
