Alpha,

Please help me buy a PSU and UPS.

My present PSU is the cheap one that came with my 1200 rupee Zebronics cabinet.
My current UPS has died - no backup at all (Microtek 600Va UPS)

My system configuration is as follows -

AMD Athlon II X2 240
Biostar TA785GE 128 MB Sideport
Kingston 2 GB DDR2 8ooMhz
Seagate 250GB SATAII 7200.12 Series
Sony DVD-RW
Logitech Newtouch Keyboard
Dell Optical mouse
Dell 18.5" LCD S1909W

All of the above was purchased in January 2010.

To my above configuration I intend to add a Palit nVidia GeForce GT 240 512MB DDR5 (getting it from a fellow TE Member)

Thank you

@setonfire get the following --

SMPS -- Corsair CX v2430W ~2700/- (cheaper on street than online) OR FSP Saga II 400W ~2000/- (from Techshop.in)

UPS -- APC BR600VA-IN ~2000/-

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Thank you very much Alpha!

Will buy from Nehru Place tomorrow :-)

Check from SMC International and Computer Empire.

P.S. -- can you get the prices for hard-drives and Ivy-Bridge processors too. If possible any news on the Core i3 3220 will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance. Cheerio!

Your wish is my command Sire!

Anything specific to ask for?

Computer Empire used to put up a rate list but they have stopped doing that.
Cost to Cost uploads their price list online.
Will check with SMC.

All hard-drive prices upwards of ~500GB drives and prices for the new Core i3 3220 if it is out in the open. These are immediate requirements, Cheerio!

If something else catches your eye, sharing is caring. =]

Is this it?

@ALPHA17

I bought APC UPS BR600CI-IN (for Rs. 2170 from Cost to Cost)

Is it the same as the one you mentioned? (APC BR600VA-IN)

The branding on the box is - APC Battery Backup 600VA 360 Watts
