I bought msi 6850. which psu can handle it decently? Preference -1 Antec 2nd cooler master 3rd corsair or seasonic.

My config......amd Phenom550 be, 2gb zeon, biostar TA790 gx, 500gb hdd. (antec and coolermaster is preferred bcoz warranty easily available here )

thankyou

I have a 1.5 yr old corsair VX450 lying around which used to power my Sapphire 6850.

Been upgraded since last year, if You are in Calcutta and looking for used PSU feel free to PM me.

@simdkumaran better go for the Cooler Master GX450W ~3500/- because of your remoteness I think only these guys will have a decent service presence in your area [OR close to you].

^^ Its not in stock at flipkart.
@ALPHA17: I would personally recommend a real power pro 460 above Gx450, not that gx450 is bad, but real power pro is better .

^ my post wasnt about flipkart, it was about seasonic service center in response to Alpha17 saying CM would have better service compared to seasonic

The Real Power Pro series has been phased out by Cooler Master, the GX-series were its replacement.

Sad, because the Real Power Pro was much better than the GX-series.

P.S. -- I have a Real Power 460W powering my RIG.

Then you could have tagged me.

Thanks for making me aware on topic though, if there is a solid Seasonic support infrastructure in the vicinity of OP, I am all for him taking a Seasonic S12II 520W.

Unfortunately the after sales network for Seasonic is not so robust all over India.

IMO some shops still stock this thing. But as you said it availability is an issue, then GX450 is good. But if OP can find Seasonic 520, then he must take it eyes closed
