Graphic Cards PSU FOR 9600gt

Hey guys got all these things last monday going to get a 9600gt
ZEBRONICS BIJLI
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E4500 2.2GHZ
TRANSCEND 2 GB DDR2 AT 667MHZ
SEAGATE SATA2 250GB
SONY DVDRW 20X With Light Scribe
ViewSonic 19" VA1903WM TFT Monitor
LOGITECH WIRELESS KB+MOUSE
I HAVE TO BUY A MOTHERBOARD,A PSU AND AN POV OR GIGABYTE 9600GT
NOW I HAVE THOUGHT OF XFX 650i ULTRA MCP AND NOW THE QUESTION IS HOW MUCH POWER IS REQUIRED FOR ALL THESE THINGS WILL ZEBBY 500W WORK WITH THE 9600GT OR NOT THE BUDGET FOR PSU IS ~1.5 SO PLEASE SUGGEST AND ANOTHER SIDE QUESTION WILL 9600GT WORK WITH XFX 650i ULTRA MCP
 
Hey rahul which PSU are you talking about?
if POV i dont have that budget anything of 500w below rs. 1.5k will help

I am talking about POV black diamond 500w..

You can't compromise for PSU with this card.. I suggest you to buy this one.. Because, you will not have to take care of your graphics card if you have a good PSU :hap2:
 
^^ ya that psu is good, but it would be really good if u get the Corsair VX450 with APFC and all.

The 9600gt will work with the 650i without any hickups, but its better advised to get a P35 mobo, say IP35-E , or if u want sli then EVGA 750i FTW Edition. :)

9600gt needs 26 A on 12 V

can u pls tell how much XX A is provided by POV black diamond 500w on 12 V rail ..
 
I dont have money to buy POV or Crossair rit now but will be buying a costly PSU after 2-3 months so i need to know will that 9600 gt work with zebby 500w and should i go for the abit I-N73HD what do you guys say about N73HD.
 
^^ Zebby SMPS Just sucks.. It burnt my old GPU :(, i would like to suggest you to go with better PSU for safety of your GPU, Pro, Mobo and all ;)

Power Safe SMPS 500W Gold SMPS for 2750

And about POV Black Diamond, ask Mr. PhOeNiX
 
In your budget of 1.5K... the best you can get is the PowerSafe Gold 400W... It will suffice your current needs since it has 27A on the 12 volt rails... ;)

However if you are gonna overclock your CPU then do get something higher...

Anyways don't get the XFX 650i... its to outdated... get the Abit P35-E

Get a P35 chip based motherboard like the Abit IP 35-E or the Biostar TP35D2-A7.. The 650iU chip's outdated although it'll support the present gen 45nm proccys with a BIOS update..

Increase ur budget by 1k and settle for a Powersafe 500w/POV Black Diamond 500w.. Better system stability and peace of mind.. :)
 
Thank you for all the suggestion made my mind to buy POV 500w it s price is around rs.2750 and for the mobo what is the cost of biostar TP35D2-A7
 
Hello, yesterday i've bought a pov black diamond 500W....i thought it was a good choice....well...i dont know that much about PSU...so....do you think that's a good one for my hardware?

Amd Athlon64 x2 4200+ 2,2 GHz
Nvidia Geforce 8800GT 512 Mb
Corsair DDR2 800MHz 1gb (x 2)
2x hdd SATA
2x DVD-Rw
and what else....some fan...
