I am think of either GS700 or TX650?

I am assembling a new system having following specifications:

Intel i5 2500

Intel motherboard DH67BL

AMD 6850(probably sapphire make..)

1 TB 7200 rpm HDD

4 GB X 2 ram

During my research I got an idea I would require a dedicated SMPS and of at least 500 Watt.

But the page at AMD says that 6850 requires at least 500 Watt SMPS, so what about other components?

Please help me to decide the wattage of SMPS?

^^

Seasonic S12II 430 at 2.95K

Corsair GS600 at 3.8K

Coolermaster GX450 at 3.3K

Coolermaster real power pro 460 at 3.4K

Get a Corsair VX450 (second hand) if possible

Best : Corsair VX550 at 4.5K (Future proof)

The TX650 v2 with the budget you have.

If you can just extend a little, TX750 v2 would be better.

Don't bother about the GS series.

I believe TX650 v2 should be sufficient if you won't be adding anything further, but a little overhead never hurts. :)

Guys budget reduced 4.5k. :( Had an accident about 2 hours ago...Nothing happened to me but my Activa sucked my 2850 bucks. :'( Aunty's :@ should be banned from driving.:chair::cursing:

Yup really good to know you are fine " Sar salamat toh pagdi pachas" is saying in hindi :) Save 4.5K till you gather money to get TX650V2. Dont go for anything else, especially for the rig you have planned

Guys I am getting a Coolermaster UCP900w SMPS. It is just RMA'ed therefore it is a just new and still has ~7months of warranty left. What do you say guys?
