PC Peripherals PSU power extension cables ?

I want to buy 22 pin power extension cable and 12v rail extension.
Is it safe to use extension cable??

I need it bcoz of antec 900 design when PSU must be kept upside down. I tried overturning it but screws wont fit so stuck with upside down orientation.
 
Very difficult to get good quality locally. I got mine from performance pcs....but paid a bomb for it.
 
700 for a couple of extension cables? I'd first scout around the local stores before going online. Reasonable quality should do!
 
sorry for OT but i had a similar question , can a ATX 24 pin and 4 pin splitter cable be used to power 2 motherboards ? and single psu be used for 2 mobo but one of them runs at a time ? :S

antec P 190 has 2 PSu 650 W X 2 delivering 1300w for the same motherboard.

its possible to use a molex/sata connector frm one system to connect non essential devices on other.

But its not possible to use PCIe/24pin/12v......

I can't see how it can be managed. The fact is that the PSU puts out just the 5VSB voltage when it is connected to the mains outlet. This 5VSB line powers the poweron button latching, wakeonLAN, wakeonRing circuits on your Mobo.
Any of those events will cause the PSU to turn on all the voltages.
The way you explain your intended connection, both your Mobos will get powered together. Pressing one of the Poweron buttons will turn on both Mobos.
By the way, how did you intend to tell the PSU which of the Mobos you want to power?
 
^ yes right , i had a plan to power atom combo with my TX750 to use as surfing / download rig , i7 + 295 consumes too much power :lol: . now thinking to put a mini itx psu for atom .
