Is a Powersafe PSU = VIP Psu ?? :huh:

had gone to a local hardware dealer today and asked for a Powersafe PSU.

He called up someone (i assume at lamington) and asked for the rates.

And then he tells me ...

VIP Golden 400w = Rs. 1600/-

VIP Silver " = Rs. 1200/-

I said I had asked for Powersafe to which he replied "VIP is powersafe...VIP and Powersafe are both manufactured by Kunhar, so theyre both the same"

I jus thought wtf, no one mentioned that anywhere...and walked out.

Is it like that??

Oh and btw he was offering a 3 yr warranty on them...
 
Both are indeed manufactured by Kunhar but it's better to get the PowerSafe Gold 400W... since the voltages are much more stable

Do you know Prime at Lamington Road?? He has the PowerSafe Gold 400W for just 1.4K... 1.5Kmax
