Hi,
Currently I am using C2D processor with 1.5TB hdd. but I don't want to change the PSU in future if I upgrade to i5/i7. So please suggest accordingly.

I want one that should have good build/should be compatible for future upgrade and customer support also should be smooth/fast in case anything happens.

Thanks.

What is your budget? Corsair offers the best customer support at the moment. Better than Seasonic in terms of the lead time for the replacement unit.

Take a look at this guide in the meantime - http://www.techenclave.com/community/buyers-guide/best-power-supply-units/

Budget is around 3500/-
Earlier I made my mind for Corsair CX430V2 but a lot of people complaining that this unit is now getting a lot of RMA because this is the unit that was manufactured earlier by Seasonic but now some other company? So I dropped the idea? Who knows the manufacturer if I order the unit.

BTW, how is Seasonic Custoemr Support if some problem comes. Are these service centers available in every city eg. HYD?

I had RMA'd my Seasonic M12D 850W unit when it arrived DOA. It was sent to Tirupati's office at Ahmedabad as per Tirupati Kolkatta's decision (over mails) and I had to pay a hefty courier charge but a new replacement unit arrived within a week. But Kaizen (the service centre that deals with Corsair) is a lot better I was told. There is also a feedback thread in our forums detailing users' experience so go through that as well.

The Seasonic S12II 430W unit seems like a good bet. You can go for that.

Everything in the list (under 7k) has Negative point where we don't have any control except the price issue!!! :(

Well, there's no such thing as perfect so you'll have to live with those! :)

The issue with Corsair's low-end or starter units are the quality of the caps and other components are a notch inferior/low grade compared to the more expensive HX/AX units.

^ He said he got his PSU replaced in a week, which is pretty decent. Service depends a lot on location, look around for feedback from users in Hyderabad. Neither of us are from Hyd, so we can't help on that aspect.

but just for the sake of this service, I don't want to compromise on quality.
Do you remember saying this? :p

There is no good PSU + good service centre at 3.5k. Nobody can give suggestions for what does not exist. But :
- If you want a perfect PSU + perfect service centre experience, increase your budget to 7k and pick up the Corsair HX650
- If you want a good PSU with maybe questionable service, then get the Seasonic S12II
- If you want a questionable PSU with good service, get a Corsair CX430 v2

If you decide on the Seasonic, pick it up from Flipkart since they have a 30 day replacement guarantee which should help if the unit is DOA or if there are any quality control issues which should show up within the first month.
