Read afterward, check these pics and tech specification, i am waiting for such a show off;)

do you know how much dust those components will catch because of the cabby design? In mumbai the humidity with cause it to fail quite badly..

what about the massive airflow phail??? the airflow has gone for a toss in this one.
maybe its natural selection : weeding out the bad cases with horrible airflow

dude this is meant for an airtight room without outside interference 24/7 under AC lockdown:D Why the hell would u keep this system in the top floor of a broken down building in mumbai??? when u obviously have enough money to buy it u can afford mukesh ambani's house...:D

Ugly is not the word for the cabby... It is even worse... :fear:

As for the specs, they sure are impressive but then even brag can do something like that without the need of a worse-than-ugly cabby. :P

This is not the broke nerds. Who spent every money on gadgets not one better living condns. :D.

This is for the rich nerds.

And such an awesome cabby. Was getting bored with the carton box concepts.

there will be SOME airflow in an airtight room too.
here, there wont be a single airflow for the devices, like a normal cabby, but every component will hae its own airflow, the sum of its cooling will be definitely less than a regular cabby. and a regular cabby sucks in cool air and removes hot air at different places, while this cabby will "reuse" the hot air, coz it wont move away on its own and will stay nearby.

The cabby may not be like as shown in the pic, though it doesn't look that cool in the pic, it may be a different story in real life. But it is different from the regular ones, for those who likes a change(for those who aren't contented even after modding their cabby)

maybe its for rich idiots who dont look beyond "wow, its cool, lemme buy that for style, even tho i will use it for email and chat and never use 99% of its capacity"

The second one is actually quite a clever design - by keeping the GPU and CPU cooler out they have really thinned down the rest of the chassis. Those two also produce the most heat and as we know, open table configs like this run much cooler than in the case.

wait, what?!?!? sir, there is no way that rig is going to run cooler than a good closed cabby with proper airflow. there is a reason cabby's are made in a particular way, otherwise why not just spread out the components on a large table and place a huge fan over them?:ohyeah:

Believe it or not, that is actually more effective! Check out the various benchmarks for case cooling. The "Open table" reference is always quite a bit cooler. Of course, that would be messy so people put them inside cases.

Here's a review I was just reading a few minutes back. OK, so it's comparing Open Bench against mid level cabinets, but still, 10C is a lot of difference. Cooler Master Elite 430 ATX Case Review - Page 11

All that said, a spacious case with a good number of fans, strategically installed, will always be the coolest. But it is clear Darwin are not going for cooling performance, they just want to be "different". And in that they are succeeding.
