OC & Modding Q9400 Overclocking Help

Note: I an currently running my system with the stock cooling..
Is it Possible to Overclock my pc??
I might not overclock atm but just want to know if it is possible to overclock this pc with stock cooling
 
^Yes. Check how far it goes in stock voltage and bump up a little after that. Won't recommend for going 3.5+ with stock cooling. but,

Those temperatures are way good for a stock cooler.

idling @ mid thirties. nice:O

are u using it in a air-conditioned room ?
 
nope...this room is hot...no AC..no cooler...+ a window just next to the pc is broken...so more heat n dust comes from there :p

ahh ...........what are u talking about ,u can easily reach 3.2 ghz no matter how hot it is:p
 
Just try it out and go up in steps. Nobody can be sure about how high it'll go, temps, chips, airflow etc. being variables.
