Quake 4 1.3 Point Release.

hmm.. feels a LOT smoother than 1.2 and much much faster movement with some increase in rocket speed too. this still has some potential now. all they have to do is fix the sound bugs in the next patch.

anyone playing the single player should try this patch too.. it may increase performance by a lot.
 
What, faster movement? :) Gotta try this today... if v-street's still up, let's play some Q4 tonight :P

Doesn't Q4MAX also have to update now?
 
yea it does. vstreet's still 1.2. the speed is kinda like cpma now but without the air control. i can get across monsoon in 2 seconds. the faster rockets are cool too.
 
CPMA speed? Sounds good man, gotta try it :D And ask Abhi to update vstreet to 1.3 so we can play tonight - or you just do it :P
 
I'll talk to Abhi to see if we run something on vstreet... he was open to the idea in the past. However, my 70ms ping sucks when playing Q4 :(
 
I got original Q4 without reading reviews coz I had such high expectations from the game. Even now the online community very small. Even single player was no good. This patch wont save the game either :(
